Peripheral Neuropathy group to meet Jan. 16
The Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group will meet at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 420 Melrose St.
The program will feature a group discussion about what works to deal with pain and balance issues. Peripheral Neuropathy is a condition that affects about 60 percent of people with diabetes, and can affect others because of chemotherapy. Estimates show that 25 percent to 30 percent of people have some degree of peripheral neuropathy. Pain is a major complaint of those dealing with Peripheral Neuropathy.
There is no membership or charge required to attend the bi-monthly meetings of the support group.
